3RD ANNUAL HONDO ARMY AIR FIELD FLY-IN
DATE: May 19, 2012 - Armed Forces Day
WHERE: South Texas Regional Airport at Hondo
WHEN: Gates opens at 10:30 a.m.
DESCRIPTION: Come out with the family and friends to enjoy a fun-filled (low cost!) Armed Forces Day celebration. Over 20 War Birds confirmed to date: B-17, B-25s, C-47, P-51, P-40, C-45, L-17, L-Birds, T-6s, PT-17s, PT-19, T-28, O-1s and more, military fly-by's, flags, bands and a ceremony recognizing our active military and veteran guests. We have also added a section for EAA Antique Aircraft displays and a large Arts and Crafts Market Days. Good, wholesome, patriotic fun for all ages.
